Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani Marley, one of the richest and most famous Reggae Singers was born on Friday, February 26, 1976 in Falmouth Jamaica. He was a member of Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani signed with Shang Records for his 1996 debut album Like Father Like Son album and singles such as Judge Not (with Patra), Dear Dad", (which was the top single on the British reggae single) and"Who The Cap" (remix), Sensimelia and others all contributed to the rising recognition for the new reggae of his generation. Ky-Mani as well as Praswell who are members of the Fugees joined together in 1997 to create Avenue which was a cover of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley made his first appearance at Midem a world-class festival of music held in Miami. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a performance that was broadcast live on air by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley was part of a bidding dispute.
